Mukesh Ambani said that India needs to think afresh about manufacturing Mukesh Ambani said that three major goals have been set for some minor changes in the country.
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani told the success story of Reliance while addressing the release ceremony of the book ‘Portrait of Power: Half a Century of Being at Ringside’ by the Farmer Bureaucrat and BJP leader NK Singh. Described how Jio has become the largest network in India today after initial success. His father Dhirubhai Ambani was the son of a school teacher. He came to Mumbai with a few dreams with just one thousand rupees and set up a business empire. They believed that those who invest in future business and right talent can fulfill their dreams.
Ambani was asked this question in the program
As of June, Jio had nearly 400 million subscribers. It is the fastest-growing business and telecom sector. Can you tell us the trials, failures, successes and challenges?
Ambani’s answer- My father was the son of a school teacher. He came to Mumbai in 1960 to fulfill the dream of Indians. He came with 1000 rupees and a belief that if you invest in future business, you can build your own dream. And we can build the biggest company in the world. In the first few years, I carried on my father’s journey and I read in a book that Reliance was issued a show-cause notice by the government and was also fined.
This penalty was imposed on production beyond the capacity of the license and since the economic reforms till now we are only inserting the production. Everything we are doing today is related to production. So you should think about how much you can change your mindset.
If you look at telecom, from our perspective, we have prepared a technology of the future. This was our father’s point of view. They always used to say that we cannot be a mere textile company. If you want to go beyond textiles, then you have to move towards future business and invest in your next-generation talent. And that’s what we did.
India should think about manufacturing afresh
In response to another question, Mukesh Ambani said that India should think again about manufacturing for development. The manufacturing sector should be defined in a new way. Billionaire Ambani said this to be a virtual book launch. He said that we need to strengthen our small and medium scale ie MSME sector. He said that there should be as much focus on BRICS as on clicks. Let us tell you that Ambani’s statement has come at a time when the country is facing an economic crisis.
Three goals set for change in the country
Mukesh Ambani said that for some minor changes in the country, three major goals have been set. Revealing these goals, he said that he is working on three main goals to transform India.
These are the three goals of Ambani –
Mukesh Ambani’s first main goal is to transform India into a digital society. The second goal is to bring changes in India’s education sector. He says that at any given time there are about 200 million children in our country’s education system. It will take 8 to 10 years to completely transform India’s skill base. At the same time, Ambani’s third goal is about the energy sector. Regarding this sector, he said that he wants to transform the energy sector to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
