Warren Buffett’s Investment: For decades, veteran investor Warren Buffet has been earning from the stock market. If we look at the biggest investment in the Buffet stock market, then their share in the three companies is more than 10 percent. Two of these three companies earned their bumpers. Warren Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway has an 18.8 percent stake in American Express and 11.9 percent in Bank of America. Buffet has earned $ 835 million (Rs 61,272.93 crore) from Gaines in just two months in both these stocks.
These two companies gave bumper profits
- According to Warren Buffett’s Annual Letter, Berkshire Hathaway has an 18.8% stake in American Express. American Express is a multinational financial services company in the US. By December 2020, Berkshire Hathaway had about 15161 million shares of American Express with an investment of about $ 120 million, worth $ 1833 million (Rs 1,34,506.91 crore) on 31 December. Now this investment has increased to 2100 million dollars (Rs 1,54,099.58 crore) in the first two months of 2021 this year.
- Berkshire Hathaway holds an 11.9 per cent stake in Bank of America. Buffett bought this stake for $ 1400 million (Rs 1,02,733.05 crore). Its value was $ 3100 million (Rs 2,27,480.33 crore) on December 31, 2020 last year, which increased to $ 3696 million (Rs 2,71,215.25 crore) in the first two months of this year. Bank of America has been Buffett’s favorite stock and Bank of America remained the preferred stock for Buffet at the time he was reducing his stake in big banks like JPMorgan Chase.
Moody’s reduced his wealth
Buffet has earned $ 835 million in the first two months of this year from Bank of America and American Express. However, not all the stocks in his portfolio were able to make a profit for him. Stock market correction has also affected their portfolio. Berkshire Hathaway holds a 13.2 per cent stake in Moody’s Corporation, a risk assessment company. His investment at the end of last year i.e. 31 December 2020 was $ 710 million (Rs 52,100.33 crore), which fell to $ 696 million (Rs 51,073.00 crore) in the first two months of this year.
