Trading Holidays in 2022: Today (March 1, 2022) on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, trading in the domestic equity market is closed. In the commodity market too, trading is closed in the morning trading session from 9 am to 5 pm) but trading is open in the evening session (5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm). Like before in the equity market, now trading in equity and commodity markets will start tomorrow on March 2, 2022. Business is closed every week in the market on Saturdays and Sundays and if we talk about this whole year, then this year after today, business will be closed for 11 days except Saturday and Sunday. In January this year, the business was closed on 26 January also and after that it is closed today.

Tradition of Muhurta Trading on Diwali
This year, except Saturday and Sunday, business will be closed for 11 days after today, but there will be Muhurta business on Diwali, the timing of which will be announced later. Apart from this, trading is done in two sessions in the commodity market and trading will be closed in both the sessions on the occasion of Good Friday and Independence Day and on the remaining holidays, the commodity market will be closed only in the morning session.
