These 10 big changes are going to happen in ICICI Bank’s service charge from next week, know what will be the effect on you

From August 1, ICICI Bank’s Cash Transaction, ATM Interchange and Checkbook Charges are going to change.


Private sector lender ICICI Bank has issued a notice on revised limits for cash transactions, ATM interchange and check book charges for domestic savings account holders. ICICI Bank has given information about this on its website. This change will be applicable from next week i.e. August 1, 2021. If you have an account with ICICI Bank, then you should know about ATM and bank withdrawal rules, which are going to change from next week.

These changes are going to happen from next week

First of all, you should also know about the rules and do the transaction according to those rules or else you may have to pay a fee. Let us know about those rules of ICICI Bank which are going to change from next week-

>> According to the ICICI Bank website, the first 3 transactions (including financial and non-financial) will be available in 6 metro cities (Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad) in a month.

>> At all other locations, first 5 transactions will be free.

>> Thereafter, the bank will charge Rs 20 per financial transaction and Rs 8.50 per non-financial transaction. These charges will be applicable for Silver, Gold, Magnum, Titanium and Wealth cardholders.

>> ICICI Bank has allowed a total of 4 free cash transactions per month.

>> According to the bank’s website, Rs 150 will be charged for transactions exceeding the free limit.

>> From August 1, the home branch cash limit for ICICI Bank customers will be Rs 1 lakh per account per month.

>> The bank said, more than 1 lakh, 5 rupees per 1,000 rupees, minimum 150 rupees will have to be charged.

>> No charge for cash transactions up to Rs.25,000 per day at non-home branches. Above 25,000, Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, minimum Rs 150 will have to be charged.

>> The limit for third party transactions has been fixed at Rs 25,000 per day. For transactions above this, Rs 150 per transaction will have to be paid. Cash transactions above the limit of Rs 25,000 are not allowed.

>> There will be no charge for a check book of 25 pages in a year. Above this limit, the bank will charge Rs 20 for each additional check book of 10 pages.

>> No charge for first 4 transactions in a month from ICICI Bank regular and salary account. After that Rs 5 per 1000 rupees or minimum 150 rupees will be deducted in the same month.
