Top 4 companies of Sensex performed better last week. Their market valuation registered an increase. However, during this period, there was a slight decline in the shares of the banking sector.

Four of the top 10 Sensex companies outperformed last week. His market cap increased by Rs 68,458.72 crore. Among these, Hindustan Unilever Limited and Infosys benefited the most. Apart from this, RIL and TCS also managed to make it to this list.
According to the data, the market valuation of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) increased by 26,832.3 crores to 5,82,874.25 crores. At the same time, the valuation of Infosys increased by Rs 24,628.79 crore to Rs 6,41,108.34 crore. The valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) rose by Rs 9,358.6 crore to Rs 12,19,577.24 crore, while the market capitalization of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) rose by Rs 7,639.03 crore to Rs 14,10,557.79 crore.
Losses to these companies
HDFC Bank, HDFC, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank suffered losses last week. There was a loss of Rs 43,703.55 crore in their market valuation. State Bank of India’s valuation declined to Rs 3,68,407.96 crore from Rs 14,948.73 crore. While the market valuation of HDFC declined from Rs 12,796.03 crore to Rs 4,49,176.18 crore.
The market capitalization of Kotak Mahindra Bank declined by Rs 6,908.63 crore to Rs 3,49,019.23 crore and that of ICICI Bank by Rs 3,644.88 crore to Rs 4,36,390.78 crore. HDFC Bank’s valuation declined by Rs 3,503.96 crore to Rs 8,16,587.81 crore and that of Bajaj Finance by Rs 1,901.32 crore to Rs 3,67,425.99 crore.
RIL retained its place
RIL retained its number one position in the top-10 most valuable firms ranking. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HUL, HDFC, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
The break came after the fall in the Sensex
In the recent week, huge profit-booking was seen in the shares of medium and small companies in the stock market. Due to which the Sensex fell for two consecutive days. In other Asian markets, Hong Kong and Seoul edged up while Shanghai and Tokyo were in losses. In the major markets of Europe, there was a declining trend in early trade. International oil standard Brent crude fell 0.73 percent to $ 72.55 per barrel. However, on the last day of the end of the week, it got braked.
