Stocks in Focus: During trading today, the focus will be on stocks like Reliance, SBI Card and Adani Transmission.
Market Outlook: This is the last trading week of this year and market experts believe that volatility may remain in the market. According to Ajit Mishra, Vice President of brokerage firm Religare Broking, derivative contracts for the month of December will expire this week and the market may see pressure due to increasing cases of corona infection. Mishra has advised investors to be careful and wait for the close above 17150. On the last trading day of last week (December 24), the domestic benchmark indices closed after the initial rally and the Sensex 57150 and Nifty closed near 17 thousand. Talking about individual stocks, today the focus will be on stocks like HP Adhesives, RBL Bank, Reliance Industries, United Breweries, SBI Cards and Payment Services, Canara Bank and Adani Transmission.

- HP Adhesives: Today is the listing of shares of HP Adhesives, a company that makes adhesives and sealants. This IPO of Rs 126 crore was open for subscription between 15-17 December. The price band for this issue was fixed at Rs 262-274 per share. The issue was subscribed 20.96 times and new shares worth Rs 113 crore have been issued. Adhesives and sealants are used in a variety of industries including plumbing and sanitary, drainage and water distribution, construction of buildings, footwear, foam furnishing and many more.
- RBL Bank: Central bank RBI has appointed Yogesh Dayal, Chief General Manager in charge of the Department of Communications, as an additional director on the board of private sector bank RBL Bank. Thereafter, the bank informed the exchange that the MD and CEO had gone on immediate leave and thereafter appointed Executive Director Rajiv Ahuja as interim MD and CEO.
- Reliance Industries: Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance has said that the Mumbai Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal has approved the withdrawal of its O2C scheme. Reliance had planned to de-merge its O2C unit.
- United Breweries: NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) has stayed an order passed by trade regulator CCI. CCI had fined some beer companies including United Breweries Limited (UBL). UBL was fined Rs 751 crore.
- SBI Cards and Payment Services: The company informed the stock exchanges that the committee has approved the allotment of 6500 fixed rate non-convertible debentures (NCDs). Under this, NCDs of about Rs 650 crore will be issued on a private placement basis with a face value of Rs 10 lakh.
- Canara Bank: Canara Bank has informed the stock exchanges that it has raised Rs 2500 crore by issuing Tier 11, Series 1 bonds in compliance with Basel III norms. This securities will have a coupon rate of 7.09 per cent per annum.
- Adani Transmission: Adani, a private sector power transmission company owned by Gautam Adani, has received a letter of intent for the acquisition of Renewable Energy Evacuation System under Khavda-Bhuj Transmission. Adani Transmission will build, operate and maintain the transmission project here for 35 years.

- TCS: You can take long positions in the price range of Rs 3,650- Rs 3,630 with a target price of Rs 3,740 and a stop loss of Rs 3,605.
