Stocks in Focus: During the business today, there will be focus on many stocks including IT stocks, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Voda Idea.
Nifty 50 Outlook: Domestic equity benchmark index Nifty 50 once again crossed the 18200 level after nearly two and a half months, a day before the weekly F&O expiry. According to brokerage firm Reliance Securities, key technical indicators in the short term and near term timeframe charts are positive and the market may remain bullish. However, if there is slippage, then it can get support at the 18100-1805 zone and then it will see a bounce. Talking about the upper side, the next target for Nifty is 18350 and then 18600. Domestic Equity Benchmark Index is getting support at 18151 and then 18091 levels while facing resistance at 18251 and then 18289 levels. Talking about individual stocks, today the focus will be on TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Voda Idea, Tata Motors, Kotak Mahindra Bank, PB Fintech (Paisabazaar), Maruti Suzuki, Mindtree, Tata Metalinks and Aditya Birla Money during trading.

- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): The country’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted a profit of Rs 9,769 crore in the December quarter. This is 12.2 per cent more than its profit in the same period of the previous financial year. The company has declared interim dividend of Rs 7 per equity share. The record date for this is January 20, 2022, while the payment date is February 7, 2022. The board of TCS on Wednesday also approved share buyback up to Rs 18,000 crore at a price of Rs 4,500 per share.

- Infosys: The country’s second largest software company Infosys reported a 11.8 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 5,809 crore in the third quarter of October-December 2021, as against Rs 5,197 crore in the same period last year.

- Wipro: IT giant Wipro’s December quarter revenue jumped nearly 2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 19489.93 crore and is projected to grow by 2-4 per cent at constant currency prices in January-March 2022 for the quarter.
- Vodafone Idea: Shares of the company had broken on Tuesday after the announcement of conversion of dues AGR and spectrum auction installations into government equity, but when the company said that the government would not look after the management of the company, its shares were a great buy on Wednesday. After the government stake, the government will have the largest holding in Vodafone. The government will hold 35.8 percent stake in Vodafone.
- Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Retail sales fell 37.6 per cent year-on-year to 80126 units in the December 2021 quarter. On a quarterly basis, sales of the company’s vehicles fell by 6.9 per cent in China and 6.8 per cent in Europe in the previous quarter.

- Mahindra Bank Box: The bank has passed a resolution to increase the voting rights of promoters to a maximum of 26 per cent.
- PB Fintech (Paisabazaar): Paisabazaar disbursed loans worth Rs 695 crore in December 2021, which includes unsecured loans like personal and business loans and secured loans like home loans and mortgage of property.
- Maruti Suzuki India: The executives of the giant auto company will hold talks with the shareholders today.
- The results of these companies will come: Today the results of other companies including Mindtree, Tata Metalinks, Aditya Birla Money will come.

- SRTRANSFIN: In the price range of Rs 1210- Rs 1240, a long position can be taken with a target price of Rs 1310 and a stop loss of Rs 1190.
- GODREJCP: In the price range of Rs 910- 920, you can take a long position by placing a stop loss of Rs 897 at the target price of Rs 945.
- TITAN: In the price range of Rs 2625- Rs 2650, short positions can be taken with a target price of Rs 2550 and a stop loss of Rs 2680.
