For the convenience of the customers, SBI has given the facility to get the deposit interest certificate online. With this, customers will not have to make rounds of the bank.
SBI provided facility to the customers
How much interest did you get on the amount deposited in your FD and service account? Now you do not need to go to the bank for this information. You can find out from the certificate of deposit. State Bank of India (SBI) has now made this facility online for the convenience of the customers. Now customers can get this information digitally sitting at home.
With the Deposit Interest Certificate, you will be able to know how much interest you have earned on your savings accounts and fixed deposits in the bank during the financial year 2020-21. For this, customers can download the certificate from Internet Banking. This information was given by SBI in a tweet. The bank said, “Login to SBI online and get your deposit interest certificate. What is the certificate download process
1. Log in to SBI Internet Banking.
2. Click on e-Services option from the main menu.
3. Select My Certificate option from the list of services displayed on the screen.
4. You can choose the type of interest certificate you want – interest certificate for deposit accounts or FD etc.
5. Below the certificate, there will be an option to download interest certificate. Click here.
SBI new FD interest rates
SBI is giving 2.9% interest to its customers on FDs between 7 days to 45 days. Whereas 3.9% on fixed deposits between 46 days to 179 days, 4.4% on FDs ranging from 180 days to less than one year. At the same time, it is giving 5% interest within 1 to 2 years, 5.1% interest on FD within 2 to 3 years and 5.3% interest within 3 to 5 years.
How much interest is getting on savings
SBI is offering an interest rate of 2.70% to its customers to keep an amount of Rs 1 lakh and above on a savings account. The bank calculates the interest rate on savings bank accounts on a daily basis. However, interest is paid every quarter to the account holders.
