The launch date of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Cruiser motorcycle has come out. This bike has been waiting for a long time. After many delays, now finally the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is going to be launched on 6 November. This bike is based on the company’s J platform. This platform is going to be used in many upcoming Royal Enfield bikes.
According to reports and leaks running online, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will come in three variants – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. A brochure found online has revealed that the Meteor 350 will have a new BS6 350cc fuel-injected, air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It will generate 20 hp power and torque of 27 Nm. This output is 1 hp and 1 Nm more than the BS6 346cc single-cylinder engine currently being used in Royal Enfield bikes. The gearbox on the Meteor 350 will be 5-speed.
Possible Features, Price and Rivals
Digital analog instrument cluster and turn-by-turn navigation assist can be found in the bike with smartphone connectivity. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will replace the Thunderbird 350X. There will be many passivation options in this bike. The ex-showroom price of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 can be around 1.60 lakh rupees. This bike will compete with Jawa Forty Two, Bajaj Dominar 250 and Honda CB350.
Fire broke out in godown on wednesday
On Wednesday, a fire broke out at the Royal Enfield’s Bhandar (Transit Campus facility) in Jaipur. Royal Enfield is part of Eicher Motors. The company said in a statement that a fire broke out at the store of Royal Enfield in Kukas, Jaipur at 12:30 pm on Wednesday. According to Eicher Motors, “All people and personnel have been evacuated from there and emergency protocol has been followed.” There is no loss or injury to the workers working there.
