Petrol-Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the third consecutive day on 22 October. In these three days, the price of oil has increased by more than Re 1 in metro cities. Petrol has become costlier by 35 paise in the capital Delhi today and is being sold at a record price of Rs 106.89. Along with petrol, diesel has also become costlier by 35 paise today and is being sold at a record price of Rs 95.62 per liter. Talking about October this month, there was no change in the price of oil for only 5 days in 22 days and it has become expensive for the remaining 17 days. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 5.25 and diesel by Rs 5.75 in Delhi this month, whereas since January this year, petrol has become costlier by Rs 23.18 and diesel by Rs 33.02 in the capital Delhi.

Petrol is beyond 100 in Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Ladakh and some cities of Bihar and Punjab. In Sri Ganganagar, petrol has even crossed Rs 115. Apart from this, the price of diesel in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad is also more than Rs 100.

Most expensive petrol in metro cities in Mumbai

Talking about all the four major cities of the country, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, the most expensive petrol is being sold in Mumbai. In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 112.78 per liter and diesel at Rs 103.63 per liter. In the four metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, Mumbai and Chennai are the cities where the price of diesel has crossed 100. The most expensive oil in the country is being sold in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar. The price of petrol per liter in Sriganganagar is Rs 118.54.
