Rising prices of petrol and diesel have become a cause of trouble for the people. Their prices have increased for the 19th consecutive day in the country. Petrol is being sold at Rs 105.84 per liter in the capital of the country, while the price of diesel has increased to Rs 94.57 per liter. Petrol in Mumbai is Rs 111.77 per liter and diesel Rs 102.52 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.43 per liter and diesel Rs 97.68 per liter. Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 103.01 and diesel at Rs 98.92 per liter. Petrol in Bangalore is Rs 109.53 per liter and diesel is Rs 100.37 per liter.
Petrol prices have increased 19 times since the end of September
In the last week of September, the process of non-increasing prices of petrol and diesel was broken for three weeks. Since then, this is the 19th increase in the price of petrol and the 18th increase in the price of diesel. The price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 in most of the states in the country. But diesel has also crossed Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka and Kerala.
