NHRCL opened the tender
According to the information, the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHRCL) opened the tender related to the bullet train on Monday. Accordingly, the tender was opened to design and build a distance of 237 km on a 508 km long project. L&T was accompanied by Tata Project-J Kumar Infra, NCC-Afcos Infra and IRCON International-JMC Project India in the race.
L&T won among the three contenders
NHRCL said that L&T has emerged as the main player with the lowest price. Apart from this, there were three more contenders who filled the financial bids. The technical bid of the project was opened on 23 September. Less than a month later, the financial bids were opened.
83% land has been taken
NHRCL had earlier said that about 83% of the land for this project was taken. All this land is in Gujarat. According to the information, the Tata-led group had bid for 28 thousand crore rupees. Afcos Infra-led group had bid 37 thousand. Compared to these two groups, L&T had bid 3 thousand crores and 12 thousand crores less.
This tender will cover 47%
