After Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, now the recharge plan of Reliance Jio has become expensive. The company has increased its pre-paid mobile tariff by up to 20 percent on November 28. The new rates will be applicable from December 1.
Tariff plan hiked from Rs 31 to Rs 480
Jio’s tariff plan has increased from Rs 31 to Rs 480. The Rs 75 plan specially run by Jio will now cost Rs 91. The Rs 129 package of the unlimited plan will be Rs 155. The segment with one-year validity plans saw the biggest growth. Now the annual package of Rs 2399 has become Rs 2879.

Data addons too expensive
Plan data add-ons available for additional data have also become expensive. The 6 GB plan available for Rs 51 will now be available for Rs 61. At the same time, the 12 GB add-on plan available for Rs 101 will be available for Rs 121. The 50 GB plan has become costlier by Rs 50 to Rs 301.
Some plans of Reliance Jio with a validity of up to 84 days have become expensive by up to Rs 120. Recharge plan of Rs 329 will now be available for Rs 395. That is, this plan of Jio has now become expensive by Rs 66. The plan of Rs 555 will get Rs 666 from December 1, 2021. The Rs 75 plan comes with a validity of 28 days. From December 1, this plan will be available for Rs 91. That is, this cheapest plan of Jio phone has now become expensive by Rs 16.
Jio has taken this step after increasing the tariff by 20 to 25 percent by Bharti Airtel and Vodafone. Airtel and Vodafone had said that the telecom industry is going through financial pressure. The industry is facing problems due to demand for new technology and dues of telecom spectrum. Airtel’s new rates were increased from November 26, while Vodafone Idea increased the rates from November 25.
