Hiring In IT and IT Services Sector: The pace of new recruitments in IT and IT Services has become very fast. The demand for IT services has increased tremendously during the Corona period and those applying for jobs or changing jobs in this sector are getting the benefit. According to online job portal Naukri.com, there has been a tremendous increase in hiring in this sector in the month of June.
There has been an increase of 163 percent in the recruitments in June 2021 as compared to June 2020. Not only this, the hiring has increased by 52 percent in June 2021 as compared to before the Corona epidemic i.e. June 2019. There has been an increase of 5 percent in the recruitment of June, 2021 as compared to May, 2021. According to the data, Corona has not had much impact in the recruitment activities in this sector.
Double digit growth in hiring in major IT-focused cities
There was little impact on the activities of the IT sector after the lockdown last year. But soon it was back on track. There has been an increase of 163 percent in the recruitments in June 2021 as compared to June 2020. IT and IT services cities Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad have seen double digit growth in hiring of companies. It is clear from this that jobs have increased in this sector. There has been a lot of growth in the eye sector since last one year. The profits of big companies were very good and they have also announced to do more recruitments. With the adoption of digital platforms for work from home and businesses, the demand for IT services has increased significantly.

Jobs will increase this year
Nasscom has said that this year IT companies have been ahead in recruiting skilled talent. The top five IT companies of the country have appointed 96 thousand additional employees in the financial year 2020-21. Due to the expansion of technology and increasing automation, the pace of new recruitment in the IT sector has increased further. In the financial year 2020-21, 1,38,000 skilled talent has been recruited in the IT sector. Nasscom said that this year a target of upgradation of digital skills of 2.5 lakh people has been set.
