According to this report, 45 percent of users playing games in India are quite new and they started playing it in the Corona era.
The Times of India has published the report of InMobi. According to this, InMobi asked around 1000 smartphone users in 30 cities about their gaming interest. According to this report, India is the fifth largest gaming market in the world. Internet cost in India is very low. Along with this, the price of the smartphone is low and the internet speed is fast. This is the reason that the interest of people towards mobile gaming has increased considerably.
80 percent of gamers play games every day
According to the report, 80 percent of gamers play mobile games on a daily basis. Of these, 84 percent play games for at least one hour on a daily basis. 72 percent of women gamers are also very serious about this and spend at least 80 hours of their time. Usually, there are three game apps in the phone of Indian gamers. 26 per cent also spend money for this.
The first gaming IPO brought a sight
Meanwhile, the country’s first gaming company IPO has brought Nazara Technologies. Its IPO will open for subscription on 17 March and will remain open till 19 March. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has a major stake in Najara Technology. The company will raise funds of 583 crore through an IPO. The company is going to bring about 53 lakh market shares. The price band has been kept at Rs 1100-1101. The company is selling 16.7 per cent market share.
