Wipro, one of the top IT companies of the country, will recruit 17 thousand freshers during the current financial year. During the next financial year ( 2022-23), this number can reach 25 thousand. Attrition rate in the company has increased to 20.5 percent during this quarter. In the previous quarter, this rate was 15.5 percent. However, in the meantime, the company has made a second increase in the salary. The increased salary has come into effect from September.

According to the company’s CFO Jatin Dalal, the company has added 11,475 employees. With this, the number of employees of the company has increased to 2,21,365. As far as selection from campus is concerned, it has recruited 8,100 freshers in the June-September quarter. This is the biggest ever recruitment of freshers in any quarter. The company had increased the target of recruitment of freshers. Earlier his intention was to recruit 6 thousand freshers.
