The company had registered a revenue of Rs 38,550 crore during the financial year 2019-20 with a growth of 17 per cent. Sodhi said, “We did a business of Rs 39,200 crore during the last financial year with a growth of two percent. During this period, sales in the category of products like fresh milk, cheese, curd, buttermilk and paneer grew by 8.5-9 per cent.
150 lakh liters of milk sold
Sodhi said that in the last financial year, the company’s ice cream sales declined by 35 percent due to the nationwide lockdown during the summer. The business of powdered milk was also affected. “We sell 150 lakh liters of milk daily. About 60 lakh liters of milk is sold from Gujarat, 35 lakh liters from Delhi-NCR and 20 lakh liters from Maharashtra. We are expecting a return to high double digit growth during the current financial year.

CGMMF has increased the price of Amul milk by Rs 2 per liter across the country from July 1, citing increase in cost. The company also does business in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Kolkata.
