Byju’s said in a statement that it will also invest an additional $400 million to accelerate the growth of Great Learning in the professional and higher education segment. A day earlier, Byju’s announced the acquisition of US-based digital educational platform EPIC for $500 million (about Rs 3,729.8 crore). Byju’s will invest Rs 7,459.7 crore separately in the North American market.

Great Learning will continue to be led by its founder and CEO Mohan Lakhmaraju and co-founders Hari Nair and Arjun Nair.
