State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an alert message to protect its customers from online frauds. SBI has asked customers not to click on such message links being sent in his name, in which it is said that gifts are being sent to customers on his behalf. Click on the link if you want a gift. SBI has tweeted that it is not sending free gifts to the customers. So do not click on this link. This is the handiwork of those making customers a victim of online fraud.

Bank said, users do not click on phishing links
The bank has said in its tweet that by clicking on such phishing links, personal and confidential information of customers can be leaked. People can empty your bank account to make people a victim of online fraud. Many users have fallen prey to such phishing links, in which it is said that the bank is sending free gifts to the customers. By clicking on this link, the user goes to a page where personal information is asked from him. Using this information online hackers can empty your bank account.

Advice not to share personal details
The bank has said that we do not ask any customer for information like his account number, personal details, CVV, PIN, OTP at all. If someone is asking you for such information, then you should be careful. Apart from this, do not share your personal information. SBI said that many such cases have come to the fore in which people have been cheated by the lure of free gifts. If you are also getting a free gift message from National Bank of India. So that message should be ignored. Otherwise you may be a victim of fraud.
