Suryoday Small Finance Bank has launched Suryoday Health and Wellness Savings Account in the market with this tremendous offer. Suryodaya Health and Wellness Savings Account is a premium savings account. It is offering a top-up health cover of Rs 25 lakh for the account holder and his/her life partner and two children. In addition, it is also providing annual healthcare packages and on-call emergency medical care service. The bank has provided this facility in view of COVID-19.
Who can open account?
Any customer in the age group of 18 to 65 years can open a single or joint account. The bank is giving 4 percent interest on the average monthly balance of Rs 1 lakh in the account, 6.25 on the monthly average balance above Rs 1 lakh and up to Rs 10 lakh and 6 percent on the monthly average balance above 10 lakh. There is an ATM withdrawal limit of Rs 1.50 lakh per day on this account. However, it is necessary to have an average monthly minimum balance of Rs 3 lakh in the account.

Free for one year after opening a health top-up account
According to R Bhaskar Babu, MD and CEO of Suryoday Small Finance Bank, treatment during a medical emergency can be very expensive. So the bank decided to start Suryodaya Health and Wellness Savings Account. Under this the entire family (husband, wife and two children) is covered. This account provides financial protection in case of costly treatment. The bank has said that top-up health insurance and healthcare package will not be charged for one year after opening the account. Along with this, ambulance service will also be free up to 20 km at 102 locations. However, this service will be free only till the end of March 2022. The bank hopes that this scheme will get a very good response.
