Two males have been shot and three arrested after main police on a much lengthy chase via Chinatown and into Charlestown in Boston early Sunday morning.
“About 2:30 a.m. officers assigned to District A-1 responded to the area of Beach Street and oxford Street for the report of multiple people shot. Upon arrival, officers observed two males, approximately in their early 30s, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds,” Boston Police Superintendent-In-Chief Greg Long stated Sunday.
Both males, as but unidentified, have been transported to native hospitals with life threatening accidents, Long stated.
Long stated police got an outline of a suspect automobile and that it was shortly noticed by officers patrolling in District 1.
“Officers…spotted this vehicle and pursued it into Charlestown. In the area of Sullivan Square in Charlestown this vehicle subsequently crashed. Three individuals from this vehicle were taken into custody and a firearm was recovered,” Long stated.
Sullivan Square is sort of 4 miles from the place the taking pictures apparently occurred in Chinatown.
All three have been transported to a hospital for analysis of non-life threatening accidents, in line with Long. None have been recognized.
“Obviously this is a very active investigation; interviews are still being conducted, the scene is being processed,” Long stated.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s workplace is concerned within the investigation, Long stated, and the Massachusetts State Police helped with the pursuit.
