Audi Q8
The Audi Q8 launched in January 2020 for Rs 1.33 crore. The Audi Q8 is powered by a 3.0-liter TFSI petrol engine. It generates 340 hp power and 500 Nm peak torque. Along with 8 speed automatic transmission has been given. The TFSI engine is with a 48 V mild hybrid system. The Audi Q8 is powered by the Quattro all wheel drive system. The top speed of this SUV is 250 kmph and it can hold a speed of 0-100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. The company has decided that it will not offer diesel engines in the Q8 lineup.
Hyundai Aura
Hyundai’s new compact sedan Aura was launched in the country in January 2020. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 5,79,900. Aura is based on the company’s Grand i10 Nios and is available in 5 variants E, S, SX, SX + and SX (O). The company also offers the CNG version with S trim, which has a manual transmission. The Hyundai Aura is offered in three engine options. Two of these are petrol and one diesel engine option. One of the petrol engines is a 1.2 liter, 4 cylinder unit, which generates 83 power and 113 Nm peak torque. The other is a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 100 hp power and a peak torque of 171 Nm. The diesel engine is a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder, turbocharged unit that generates 74 hp power and a peak torque of 190 Nm. All three engines are BS6 compliant. The Hyundai Aura has a standard 5 speed manual transmission. Apart from this, 5 speed AMT with 1.2 liter petrol and 1.2 liter diesel engine is also available in select variants.
Kia Carnival
Carnival MPV was launched by Kia Motors at the Auto Expo 2020 in February. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 24.95 lakh. The Kia Carnival has a 2.2 liter, 4 cylinder diesel engine. It generates 198hp power and 440Nm torque. Also available is an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Kia Sonet
The new Kia Sonet of Kia Motors was launched in September. Its ex-showroom price in India starts at Rs 6.71 lakh. The Kia Sonet is available in dual trim concepts, tech line and GT line. The car has two petrol engine options 1.2 liter and 1.0 liter turbo GDI. The diesel engine options are 1.5 L CRDi WGT and 1.5 L CRDi VGT. Both engines are BS6 compliant. At the same time, the price of Defender 110 (5 door) starts at Rs 79.94 lakh. Land Rover Defender has a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine. Generates 296 hp power and 400 Nm torque. Volkswagen T-Roc
This SUV was launched in India in March. The Volkswagen T-Roc has an ex-showroom price of Rs 19.99 lakh. The Volkswagen T-Roc is powered by a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine. It is a BS-VI Compliant. Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SUV
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SUV was launched in the country in March. Its ex showroom price in India is 68.94 lakh rupees. This 4 wheel drive, 5 door SUV Wrangler Rubicon has a 4 cylinder, turbocharged, 2.0 liter petrol engine. It generates 268 hp power and 400Nm torque. Along with 8 speed automatic transmission has been given.
MG Hector Plus
MG Motor India launched the new Hector Plus in India in July 2020. This 6 seater vehicle has 3 engine options 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 liter petrol hybrid automatic and 2.0 liter. The MG Hector Plus’s 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine generates 143hp power and a peak torque of 250Nm. The petrol hybrid automatic option also gives the same output. Along with this, 6 speed manual transmission will be available as standard and 7 speed DCT as optional. The 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine generates 171hp power and peak torque of 350Nm.
