Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid has many powerful features

Yamaha Motor India recently launched the new Fascino 125 Hybrid in the country. The base drum brake variant of the scooter has been priced at Rs 70,000. There is also a disc brake trim on offer and is priced at Rs.76,530 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the outgoing model at this price point, the new Fascino hybrid drum brake variant is Rs 2,000 cheaper while the disc brake trim now costs Rs 1,000 more.

The company says that the new model will be available in the market by the end of July. Talking about the biggest highlight of the scooter, the new Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid gets a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system with added functionality. Under this, the SMG acts as an electric motor, providing power assist when the rider starts from a stop. This is beneficial during start-out during climbing.

The new Fascino 125 FI Hybrid is powered by the same 125 cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that churns out 8 hp of power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque. With this, the new model offers slightly better torque than the previous model’s 9.7 Nm. In addition to this, the scooter gets a side stand engine cut-off switch as standard.

Talking about the color options, the Disc Brake version is available in Vivid Red Special, Matte Black Special, Cool Blue Metallic, Dark Matte Blue, Suave Copper, Yellow Cocktail, Cyan Blue, Vivid Red and Metallic Black. On the other hand, the drum brake trim is also available in different colors including Vivid Red, Cool Blue Metallic, Yellow Cocktail, Dark Matte Blue, Suave Copper, Cyan Blue and Metallic Black.

The disc brake version of the Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid gets features like Bluetooth enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X app and all-LED headlamps, DRLs, LED tail lamps and digital instrumentation.
