Within a day, Tata Motors has opened 8 new showrooms in this city, here is the complete plan of the company

Tata is constantly working to make a strong hold on the market. While the company is launching new vehicles on one hand, on the other hand, the company is maintaining a constant focus on new showrooms and sales along with electric vehicles.

Tata Motors’ entire focus is currently on sale

Tata Motors on Friday informed that it has inaugurated eight new showrooms in Ahmedabad city as part of its plan to increase its presence in Gujarat. Highlighting the convenient locations of each of these new showrooms, Shailesh Chandra of Tata Motors highlighted the growing prominence of the carmaker in the state. He said that Tata Motors is the fastest growing brand in Gujarat with an annual growth of 95% in FY 2021.

President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said, “We are now ready for our next phase of growth through aggressive retail expansion, making our new Forever range of cars, UVs and EVs available to all. We are excited to simultaneously inaugurate 8 new state-of-the-art showrooms in several upmarket areas of Ahmedabad, which will enable us to deliver a customer experience both online and offline to meet the needs of today’s genuine customers.”

Chandra also referred to the recently announced EV policy in the state and said the carmaker’s “continuously expanding network and product portfolio” can accelerate EV adoption here. The Gujarat government is looking at making electric vehicles more affordable with a focus on improving the charging infrastructure. This could especially benefit electric cars like the Nexon EV, even though the subsidy is applicable for battery-powered vehicles across all segments.

Altroz EV coming in the market

Tata is reportedly setting up another production line for the Altroz EV and its launch is more likely sometime next year. This is the second electric model based on Ziptron technology and is likely to get an extra battery pack option. The bigger battery pack is said to provide 25 to 40 percent more driving range, which equates to around 500 km. The same battery pack will also be made available in the Nexon EV and thus will help in expanding its range.
