In terms of sales, Maruti Alto has been at number one in the month of July, with 13,654 units sold in the previous month. The hatchback sold 11,577 units in July 2019, registering a 17.94 per cent increase in sales.
Maruti has been at the second number, it has missed the first number by a few hundred units. Maruti WagonR has sold 13,515 units in the month of July, a decline of 10.27 per cent in its sales compared to 15,062 units in July last year.
Maruti’s premium hatchback Baleno has been at number three, with 11,575 units sold, a 10.43 percent jump in sales. At the same time, the Hyundai Creta SUV lagged behind by just a few units, with 11,549 units sold in July.

Hyundai Creta sales have been steadily increasing since the introduction of the new avatar. Sales of this SUV registered a big jump of 75.83 per cent as compared to 6585 units in July last year, making it the largest vehicle in the list of top 10 cars.
Maruti Swift is at the fifth position and has sold 10,173 units. The company’s only Dzire is at the sixth position, with 9046 units sold in the month of July. Both the vehicle sales have registered a decrease of 19.75 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.
Maruti’s Ertiga and Eeco ranked seventh and eighth respectively. The 8504 units of the Ertiga MPV have been sold, while only a few units have been left behind, with 8501 units sold. Hyundai’s Grand i10 ranked ninth, with 8368 units sold in July.
Celtos, the popular SUV that made the last place, has sold 8270 units in the month of July. Five cars have recorded an increase in this list, which is expected to be even better in the coming months.
