Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motors has decided to temporarily stop its production in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19.

In view of the increasing cases of Corona across the country, many car and bike manufacturers have so far stopped their production. In this episode, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has also stopped its production in view of the growing Covid-19 case.
The two-wheeler manufacturer has announced today that in view of the second wave of Covid-19 and lockdown in many cities across the country, the company has decided to temporarily stop its production. The company will not produce at all four plants from May 1 to May 15, 2021.
Company’s plants are present in four states
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India’s manufacturing plants are located at Manesar in Haryana, Tapukara in Rajasthan, Narsapura in Karnataka and Vithalapur in Gujarat. The company said that its purpose is to complete its annual plant maintenance activity while stopping production. The two-wheeler manufacturer will review its decision after May 15 and decide on the production start, given the status of the Covid-19.

The two-wheeler manufacturer also said that it has allowed all office associates to work from home so that the Covid-19 chain can be broken. HMSI employs only essential workers in its manufacturing plant and its offices across the country
