Jaguar Land Rover has announced that new purifiers made for its cars through the company can kill around 97 percent of germs and bacteria inside. At the same time, it helps to keep a lot of clean air inside the cabin for those traveling inside the car. Jaguar claims that the company tested it in its laboratory to ensure that it eliminated many viruses and airborne bacteria.
Jaguar has used a prototype heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system for its cars. It is made by Panasonic’s nanotechnology. Jaguar Land Rover tied up with Microbiology and Virology Lab Perfectus Biomed for the necessary tests. With this help, the vehicle ventilation system works on a 30-minute cycle.
Jaguar claims that Panasonic’s nanotechnology has also been tested on coronavirus by a global research organization called Texas. It specializes in viral testing and immunoprofiling, and is one of the world’s laboratories with permission to test against COVID-19. According to a release released by Jaguar, the report from the two-hour test found that the new air purifiers can also kill almost 100% of the coronavirus.
Jaguar Land Rover Chief Medical Officer Steve Iley said, “The wellbeing of our customers is of paramount importance to us – and now, more than ever, we are all looking for technology solutions that can help take care of our loved ones Huh.
Let us know that the current Jaguar range models, such as the all-electric i-Pace Performance SUV, and Land Rover SUVs like the Discovery and Range Rover Evoque, all come with nano technology and PM 2.5 filtration.
