Wheel maker manufacturer TVS Motor has announced a support of Rs 40 crore to deal with the crisis of the outbreak of Corona infection in the country. The company is managing it in association with Sundaram Clayton and other group companies. This money will be used to provide oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, medicines and other medical equipment across the country.
TVS said in a statement that it would also distribute more than 20,000 food packets per day to two thousand oxygen concentrators and employees of essential services in hospitals and health centers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. In addition, more than one million masks, several thousand oximeters, PPE kits and other essential medical devices will also be provided at more than 500 government health centers.
60 crores given last year

TVS Motor had earlier announced an assistance of Rs 60 crore during the first wave of corona infection last year as well. He said that the company has distributed food packets and one million masks to more than two million health workers during the last one year.
