On Thursday, Mahindra had suggested to open vaccination camp on Twitter and now his company has partnered with many hospitals for this.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Mahindra Group, Anish Shah has informed that the Mahindra Group has signed a letter of intent with various hospitals to explore the possibility of setting up vaccination centers in open spaces.
Earlier, the Mahindra group had said on Thursday that unless the companies directly supply the COVID-19 vaccine, they can help the hospitals by setting up vaccination centers in open spaces to reduce the risk of infection in the hospital premises.
Responding to Anand Mahindra’s tweet, Shah said, “We have signed letters of intent with several hospitals.” We are working with them (and the government) to understand how we can set up these centers. “However, he did not elaborate on this.

On Thursday, Mahindra spoke on Twitter about the suggestion of setting up a vaccination camp in the open. He wrote on Twitter that “The doctor of a local hospital told me about the plan to work closely with the local club, in which the space of these clubs can be used to make a vaccination camp.” This will enable a large number of people to get vaccinated and there will be no disturbance in the regular low of hospitals.
A Doctor from a local Hospital told me of plans to work with local clubs to utilise their open spaces for creating vaccination camps. It allows efficient handling of larger numbers & prevents the vaccine drive from intruding on the hospital’s regular activities. (1/3)

He further wrote that the risk of spreading the infection in open places in hospitals is less. Companies present in the metros have open spaces nearby. They were also hoping to set up vaccination centers, but vaccine makers are supplying vaccines to states and hospitals with priority. ”
Mahindra further wrote that we can give financial support to hospitals for setting up such camps until companies get direct vaccine supplies.
