Royal Enfield has announced a price hike in India on its flagship models, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The middleweight retro-classic model of the Chennai-based two-wheeler company has been made expensive by Rs 6051 and Rs 6808 according to ex-showroom price. This is not the first price hike on these bikes of Royal Enfield, as their prices had jumped earlier in April 2021. Apart from the new price hike, there is currently no update regarding the models.
According to the ex-showroom Ahmedabad, the models whose prices have increased include Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Canyon Red, Ventura Blue, Orange Crush, which has gone up to Rs 2,81,518. At the same time, the price of Downtown Drag, Sunset Strip, Baker Express has gone up to Rs 2,89,806. On the other hand, Mark 2 Chrome costs Rs 3,03,619, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 costs Rs 2,98,079 and Ventura Storm Duct Deluxe costs Rs 3,06,368. With this, the price of Mr Clean has gone up to Rs 3,20,176.

The Royal Enfield 650 Twins continue to be the most affordable middleweight motorcycle in the country even after the price corrections from time to time. Apart from this, Royal Enfield has also announced a price hike on its Classic 350 motorcycle.
Meanwhile, the two-wheeler maker is also planning to use the same 650cc platform for other future models, including a bigger 650cc Himalayan, but nothing has been officially confirmed as of now.
