Interestingly, these top 3 safest cars do not have any cars of the country’s number one and number 2 car company Maruti Suzuki India and Hyundai Motor India.

    Mahindra XUV300:

    This SUV from Mahindra comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is 1197cc, which generates 108.59 HP power and 200 Nm torque. Along with the 6 speed manual transmission. The diesel engine is 1497cc, which generates power of 115 HP and torque of 300 Nm. There is a 6 speed manual and automatic transmission option with this engine. The ex-showroom price of the XUV300 starts at Rs 7.95 lakh.

    Speaking of safety features, the Mahindra XUV300 features anti-lock braking system, heated ORRVs, ISOFIX child seat anchors, airbags, EBD, corner braking control, hill start assist, front parking sensor, front and rear fog lamps, seat for the co-driver Belt reminder, rear defogger, speed sensing door lock and impact sensing door lock are given.

    Tata Altroz:

    Both BS VI petrol and diesel engine options have been given in this car. The petrol engine is a 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder unit. It generates 66 HP power and 113 Nm peak torque. The 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine is capable of generating 90 hp power and 200 Nm torque. A 5 speed manual gearbox is standard in the Altroz.

    Safety features of the car include ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control, Dual Front Airbags, Reverse Parking Camera, ISOFIX, Voice Alert and Warning, Driver & Co Driver Seat Belt Reminder, High Speed ​​Alert System, Immobilizer, Reverse Parking Sensors etc. . The ex-showroom price of Tata Altroz ​​starts at Rs 5.44 lakh.

    Tata Nexon:

    The ex-showroom Delhi price of Tata Nexon SUV starts at Rs 699900. The vehicle is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo petrol and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 120 PS maximum power and 170 Nm peak torque. At the same time, the diesel engine generates maximum power of 110 PS and peak torque of 260 Nm. There is a choice of 6-speed automatic transmission with 6-speed manual gearbox with both engine options. Tata Nexon offers safety features like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control, hill-hold assist.
