Know how much will be the registration fee
Vehicles already registered can retain their original registration mark. However, for new registrations, the registration mark will be specified as “XX VA YY8”, where VA stands for vintage, XX is the state code, YY will be the two-letter series and “8” is the state registration. The number will be between 0001 to 9999 allotted by the authority.
If we talk about the registration fee, then the new registration fee will be Rs 20,000 and for subsequent re-registration Rs 5,000. For regular/commercial purposes, vintage motor vehicles cannot be brought on the roads.
