Tata Nexon EV is being liked a lot in India. This vehicle has taken Tata’s sales to the top. In such a situation, now the company is planning to slowly launch it in neighboring countries.

The popularity of the Nexon EV is on the rise

Tata Motors today launched the Nexon EV in Nepal at a starting price of NPR 35.99 Lakh (approximately Rs 22.50 Lakh). The Tata Nexon EV will be available in Nepal in three variants which include XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux trims. Tata Nexon batteries in Nepal offer an 8-year warranty or 1,60,000 kms. And is giving a warranty of three years or 1,25,000 km on the electric vehicle. Tata will sell the Nexon EV in Nepal in partnership with Sipardi Trading Pvt Ltd. Tata has already started booking refundable NPR 25,000 for customers.

The Nexon EV has become India’s latest electric car to be exported to the neighboring country apart from the Mahindra e2O and Hyundai Kona SUVs. Mayank Baldi, Head of PVIB, Tata Motors, said, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our electric SUV – the Nexon EV in Nepal. Powered by state-of-the-art green technology, Ziptron, the Nexon EV takes the customer experience to the next level.

He further added that, the vehicle comes with great design, features, safety, strong driving experience and attracts the customers. It comes with a fully dedicated charging network which gives Nexon customers a different ecosystem. We are confident that our customers will be delighted with the Nexon EV, and we wish them happy memories on behalf of Tata Motors’ passenger and electric vehicles,” he added.

Tata Motors will also help establish EV infrastructure in Nepal by contributing with the launch of upcoming EVs, charging infrastructure with state-of-the-art DC chargers and home charging solutions across the country. The Nexon is India’s best-selling electric passenger vehicle, and has sold 1,716 units of the car in the first quarter between April and June. In India, Tata Motors recently launched the dark variant of the Nexon EV, called the Nexon Dark, priced at Rs 10.40 lakh.
