The Safari will be based on Tata Motors’ Impact 2.0 design language and the “OMEGARC” platform will be available on Tata Safari. The 2021 Tata Safari will have a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine with Harrier. It produces 170hp power and 350Nm torque. Also a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission can be given. Tata Motors has also confirmed that the new Safari will not have a petrol engine at the time of launching. The new Tata Safari will not have all-wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.
The 2021 Tata Safari will feature exterior features such as panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon projector headlamps, 18 inch alloy wheels. Interior features are expected to include a floating 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Harman music system, which will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, Oyster White themed interior and features like ash wood dashboard, wireless charging, powered driver seat can also be given. Safety features will include electronic stability control and 6 airbags. Tire pressure monitor can also be found in the top trim.
