Tata Motors has received new orders for its electric passenger vehicle. He has received these orders from Convergence Energy Services Ltd ie CESL. The company has given a tender of 44 crore rupees to Tata. CESL has signed a Letter of Award with Tata where the company has been asked to produce 300 electric cars with a 3-year warranty. During this time, Tata has been asked to keep the length of the trains less than 4 meters and together it has been told that the range of these trains should be more than 250 kilometers.
The contract is part of the scaling up demand side energy efficiency sector project financed by the Asian Development Bank Line of Credit to CESL.
