Tiago New Variant
Tata Motors has introduced a new variant of Tiago which is Tiago XT(O). Its price is Rs 5.48 lakh and it is based on the mid-spec XT. While it is cheaper by Rs 15,000, it costs Rs 48,000 less than the base model XE. Many features are similar in Tiago XT (O) and XT. But you don’t get the 2 DIN infotainment system which comes as standard on the XT. Tata has given the XT(O) variant here with four Harman speakers and steering mounted audio controls.
In such a situation, you are saving Rs 15,000 while taking a car. In this case, you can install it in the aftermarket head unit. Because in this you will get a well-branded aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
What’s special in the variant
In this variant you get digital instrument display, front and rear power windows and manual air con central locking. Apart from this, you also get electronically ORVMs, multi info display. For the safety of the passenger, it has been provided with dual airbags, ABD with ABS and rear parking sensors. The standard model in the XT(O) is the 86PS 1.2 petrol engine that powers the front wheels. However, in this you get 5 speed manual gearbox and 5 speed AMT Limited, for which you will have to go to the top end. Tata’s entry-level hatchback competes with the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Maruti Suzuki Celeria and the Hyundai Santro here.
All variants of Tiago lineup and their prices
The first of the manual variants is the XE, which costs Rs 5 lakh. This is followed by the new XT(O) variant which costs Rs 5.48 lakh. After this, the price of XT is Rs 5.63 lakh, the price of XZ is Rs 6.08 lakh, the price of XZ+ is Rs 6.34 lakh and the price of XZ + Dual Tone is Rs 6.44 lakh.
On the other hand, if we talk about the automatic variants of Tiago, then XTA comes first, which costs Rs 6.15 lakh. This is followed by XZA 6.60 lakhs, ZXA+ Rs 6.68 lakhs and finally XZA+ Dual Tone which costs Rs 6.96 lakhs.
