Famous car company Skoda Auto on Friday announced to increase the prices of all its vehicles. From January 1, 2022, the price of Skoda vehicles will increase by up to 3 percent. The company sells vehicles like Kushaq, Kodiak, Octavia in the Indian market. Zac Hollis, director of the Skoda Auto brand, said in a statement that from January 1, 2022, the company is going to increase the price of its vehicles. He said that due to increase in input and operational costs, the price of vehicles has to be increased.

Hollis said that despite the macro-economic challenges, the company has tried to minimize the impact of the increase in costs on the customers. In the last one year, the prices of raw materials like steel, aluminium, copper and precious metals have increased continuously, due to which the automakers have decided to increase the prices of their vehicles. Automakers including Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Honda Cars have already indicated to increase the prices of their vehicles. Now Skoda has also joined this list.
