According to Gizmochina, Segway-Ninebot has introduced its new electric KickScooter GT2. The product page on the company’s official website shows that the GT2 uses two electric motors, which together generate 3kW of power. Thanks to this power, the KickScooter GT2 can reach a speed of 70 kilometers per hour. Apart from this, the company claims that it can accelerate from 0-48 kmph in 5 seconds.
The company claims that this electric kick scooter can deliver a range of 90 km on a single charge, which is a very long range for a kick scooter. For this, a battery pack of 1512 Wh capacity has been given in it. Segway claims that this battery pack can be fully charged in 8 hours. It also gets traction control, which prevents the wheel from slipping at high speeds. Most kick scooters are prone to tire slips, but with traction control, this fear can be mitigated to a great extent.
Both the front and rear tires on the GT2 measure 11-inch in size and get a disc brake system. At the front, there is a 9W LED light near the handlebar, which makes it easy to see in the dark. Talking about the features, it has a digital display, which is transparent. The company claims that this is the first of its kind display for the kick scooter. It also gets Bluetooth and app connectivity. Apart from this, the company has also given cruise control option in it. The scooter includes four riding modes namely Eco, Sport, Race and BOOST, along with a walk mode and a park mode. The scooter can withstand a weight of up to 150 kg, and its own weight is 52 kg.<!–
