Since last year, the company has helped provide basic amenities to 39,000 families across India. Along with this, Royal Enfield has also contributed ₹ 2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund of Tamil Nadu.

Motorcycle company Royal Enfield said on Thursday that it will give Rs 20 crore to aid relief and rehabilitation efforts amid the coronavirus pandemic. This amount will be in addition to the assistance of Rs 50 crore announced by the Eicher group for relief work last year.
Royal Enfield, which comes under Eicher Motors, said that in Delhi-NCR and Tamil Nadu, the prescribed amount will be released for medical assistance besides working with state governments and NGOs.
Oxygen plant started in AIIMS
The company said in a statement that in collaboration with Ekam Foundation, it has commissioned an oxygen plant at Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Center and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Royal Enfield is also providing oxygen generator support to six government hospitals in Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, the company said that it is also procuring and supplying critical care equipment to six government and two charitable hospitals and 30 public health centers in Tamil Nadu.
Help provided to 39,000 families
Royal Enfield has three plants available in Tamil Nadu. The company said that it is providing assistance as well as helping to run a livelihood in remote areas. Since last year, the company has helped provide basic amenities to 39,000 families across India. Along with this, Royal Enfield has also contributed ₹ 2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund of Tamil Nadu.
Royal Enfield is a division of Eicher Motors and operates through 1,025 major dealerships and 1,031 studio stores in all major cities and towns of India and the bike is exported to more than 60 countries across the world.
