Mahindra XUV700 will be officially launched in India towards the end of 2021. The new 2021 XUV700 will compete with the Hyundai Alcazar and the Tata Safari.

Mahindra is gearing up to introduce the all-new XUV700 in the Indian market and the SUV has now been spotted ahead of its official debut in late 2021. The new leaked images reveal a lot of details of the new XUV700. With the latest generation changes, the XUV700 has entered a bigger, bulkier profile. The shape of the earlier vehicle has been completely omitted as the XUV has tried to make the cabin space appear bigger here. In this way, customers get more comfort.
The XUV has seen many changes. It is just a few steps away from becoming a full-fledged MPV. The vehicle has been made bigger from the rear and it looks like it has been pulled from the rear. With the help of this look, it looks quite big. With the new update, many new features and equipment have been included in the car.
Earlier, Mahindra has confirmed features like auto booster headlamps, smart pop-up handle, driver attention monitor and wide-in-segment roof. Apart from this, it has also recently confirmed the new ‘Smart Filter Technology’ for its upcoming XUV700.
Under the hood Mahindra XUV700 will be powered by a 2.0-litre Amstallion petrol engine that will churn out 200PS of power. Apart from this, the SUV could also sport a 2.0-litre mHawk diesel engine, which will churn out a maximum power of 185 PS. Transmission options on the new XUV700 could include either a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automaker has also mentioned that the XUV700 will also get a 4×4 variant.
Upon launch, the new 2021 Mahindra XUV700 is expected to be priced above ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari.
