The Mahindra Thar SUV is built on the company’s new generation-on-frame chassis. The new Thar is more secure, receiving a 4-star safety rating by Global NCAP. The Thar comes with features such as LED DRLs, alloy wheels, a hard rooftop, automatic climate control, ISOFIX mount, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with touchscreen display.

The new Thar comes with a choice of 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol and 2.2-liter turbo diesel engines. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Mahindra Thar prices start from 12.10 Lakhs and go up to 14.15 Lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
