BMW Motorrad has announced that it will unveil its new electric vehicle on 7 July. The company is considering it as a very special electric vehicle which will take a new step in the world of electrification. This new two-wheeler will be called the BMW CE-04 electric scooter.
The company’s Twitter handle has released a short teaser video that gives a glimpse of the scooter and its name. Earlier, BMW electric scooters have also been spotted doing test rides on public roads. The very futuristic looking scooter’s design seems to be inspired by the Ducati Sport 1000 Biposto, which was used in the film Tron Legacy. BMW Motorrad has showcased some interesting and innovative electric motorcycle concepts over the years.

What will be special in this scooter
Talking about the technical specifications and designing of the new e-bike, at present the company has not given any information about it. It was first introduced as a concept in the year 2020. It is also being speculated that the new bike could match the existing variant of the BMW C Evolution which has a top speed of 130 kmph.
The wide V-shaped LED headlamps along with the integrated LED daytime running lights at the center of the front cowl give the bike a very modern look. A shot of its test ride shows that it will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen instrument cluster. The launch will be live-streamed on BMW Motorrad’s official Facebook page, YouTube channel.
