Okinawa Autotech, India’s fastest growing and most lucrative electric two-wheeler maker, has reduced the prices of all its electric scooters after amending the Fame-Two policy. To encourage the adoption of electric scooters in the country, the company is offering its customers the full subsidy benefit of 15000 per kwh. It has cut from Rs 7.2 thousand to Rs 17.8 thousand on all its models. This price is effective from 11 June 2021 only.
In an initiative to deliver the best smart scooters at an affordable price, Okinawa is promoting e-mobility among the larger population by supporting the Government of India’s vision of ‘Go Electric’. Also, Okinawa has become the hallmark of India due to its reliable and impeccable quality.
The iPraise Plus has become the best-selling product in Okinawa Autotech’s range of scooters, with nearly three times more sales in the past few months amid rising fuel prices. This smart electric scooter is equipped with an IoT enabled mobile application called ‘Okinawa Eco App’. The app allows customers to track usage, get directions and call certain emergency numbers. There are many other best features in iPraz Plus which have created a buzz in the market. The iPraz Plus is an excellent product capable of 160-180 km/h charge and 2- 3 hours of charging, powered by a revolutionary detachable Lithium-Ion battery. It is also 30-40 per cent lighter than many other EVs in its class.

90,000 scooters introduced so far
Okinawa has taken more than 90,000 scooters on the road till May 2021 and has emerged as the most popular electric scooter manufacturer in India. The company is going to invest Rs 150 crore to set up a new manufacturing plant close to its existing plant in Rajasthan.
Reducing the dependence on charging facility centers, Okinawa is going to offer its customers the convenience of easy charging at home, office and other convenient locations in the times to come. All Okinawa scooters are equipped with a detachable lithium-ion battery, so users can charge the battery with them at any common plug point. Charging it is as easy as charging a mobile phone. Apart from this, it takes only 45 minutes to 1 hour to charge 80 percent battery and the battery gets full after two-three hours of charging.
