Okaya Faast is a connected electric scooter. It is packed with a 4.4 kW Lithium Phosphate battery. EV startup Okaya claims that the e-scooter can cover a distance of at least 150 km on a single charge. The company claims that the range of this e-scooter can go up to 200 km in a single charge, depending on its usage.
Features like LED lights, digital instrument cluster, daytime running lights and combi braking system have been provided in the Okaya Faast electric scooter. The top speed of this e-scooter is around 60 to 70 kmph.
Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power Pvt Ltd says, “With the Okaya Faast e-scooter, we are targeting the huge demand for high performance electric vehicles in the market. Anil Gupta, Managing Director, Okaya Power Group said that OKAYA is dedicated to make India a 100% EV country. Puran Singh Negi, AVP, Okaya EV said, “We want to capture the bulk of the emerging demand in the market.
Along with launching the Faast electric scooter, Okaya also showcased its e-motorcycle Ferrato at the expo, which is going to be launched soon. It is expected to launch in the second quarter of next year. The Ferrato will be packed with a 2 kWh motor and 3 kWh battery. It is claimed that this bike will give a top speed of 80-90 kmph and give a range of up to 100 km on a single charge.
The company claims that it is on track to become the fastest growing domestic EV brand. The company has created more than 225 dealers across the country in just 6 months of its inception.
