Nissan Magnite, launched in India in December 2020, received a 4 star safety rating in the ASEAN-NCAP crash test. The category wise detailed score of this crash test is yet to be released. Nissan Magnite was launched in India at an introductory price starting at Rs 4.99 lakh, which was in force till 31 December 2020.
Nissan has recently launched Magnite in Indonesia. So it is not yet clear whether the magnite used in the ASEAN-NCAP crash test was India specific or Indonesia specific. If it was an India-specific model, then the Nissan Magnite specialties would increase further.

Engine specifications
The Nissan Magnite has two engine options. The first B4D is a naturally aspirated 1.0 liter petrol engine with dual VVT system. This engine will be able to generate 72 hp power and 96 Nm peak torque and will give a mileage of 18.75 kpl. With this the transmission will be 5 speed manual. The other option is the 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, which will generate 100 hp power. With 5 speed manual transmission, this engine will give torque of 160 Nm and mileage of 20 kpl, while the CVT gearbox will have torque of 152 Nm and mileage of 17.7 kpl.
