All companies are coming forward to help with the corona virus. In this episode, MG Motor India has handed over 8 units of retrofitted Hector Ambulance to Nagpur Local Authorities. These are equipped with a custom-built ambulance modern life-saving system.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari had requested MG Motor India to provide 100 such vehicles in which 8 units have been delivered for Nagpur and Vidarbha regions. MG Motor India said that it has accepted the request of Nitin Gadkari and has delivered 8 units of instant ambulance to Nagpur Local Authorities. Rajiv Chhaba, President and MD, MG Motor India said, “The Minister has given our support in this bad time. We have immediately submitted 8 out of 100 requested Hector Ambulance units. ”
This retrofitted ambulance has been custom-built by the company’s engineers at the Halol plant in Gujarat. All these SUV ambulances are equipped with all types of medical facilities. It includes medicine cabinet, ventilator, oxygen supply system, 5 parameter monitor, auto-loading stretcher, battery and inverter with additional socket, a siren, a lightbar and a fire extinguisher etc.
In early March this year, the company donated 5 units of retrofitted Hector Ambulance at Nagina Specialty Hospital, Nagpur. For this, the company partnered with MG Nagpur dealership. Earlier, these ambulances were donated in the hospital of Vadodara and in Halol in Gujarat. Talking about this in March, Chhaba said, “We have received positive feedback from GMERS of Vadodara and CHC Hospital in Halol regarding Hector Ambulance.”
Many companies are continuously coming forward in the era of this epidemic. Companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford India, Bajaj Auto, TVS Motors and Skoda Auto India have come forward to provide the necessary medical supplies and donations.
