The country’s leading vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has today launched its new SUV Bolero Neo. The company has launched this SUV at an initial price of 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom). This SUV was to be launched on July 15 but the company has preponed it. The company has introduced it in four variants which include N4, N8, N10 and N10 (O).
Its N4 variant costs Rs 8.48 lakh, N8 costs Rs 9.48 lakh and N10 variant costs Rs 9.99 lakh. The company has not yet disclosed the price of the N10 (O) variant. Let us know about the other features of this SUV…
Mahindra Bolero Neo Exterior & Interior
A fresh look has been given in Mahindra Bolero Neo. This SUV is based on ladder-frame chassis. The rear-wheel drive system of this SUV differentiates it from the sub-compact SUV and it has been introduced in a very attractive look. The headlights have been re-profiled and it looks sleeker with the LED DRLs located at the top. It gets a reworked front bumper with new fog lamps and it has also been updated with Mahindra’s new six-slat chrome grilled design.
The classic design of the SUV is similar to that of the standard Bolero which includes a clam-shell bonnet, square-off, flared wheel arches and a thick plastic cladding. Apart from this, new dual five-spoke alloy wheels have been given with silver finish. At the rear, the Bolero Neo also gets a new X-Type spare wheel with ‘BOLERO’ branding.
If we talk about the interior, then instrument cluster and Multi Information Display (MID) have been given in it. Along with this, it also gets new beige fabric upholstery with textured effect, a new tilt-adjustable power steering wheel and arm rests for the second row seats.
Features of Mahindra Bolero Neo
The SUV will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, steering mounted as standard features.
Mounted audio control, front arm rest, cruise control, air conditioning with eco mode, height adjustable driver seat and electronically adjustable out side rear view mirrors (ORVM’s) are provided. Talking about safety, it gets Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Dual Front Airbags, Reversing Parking Sensor and Optional ISOFIX Mount.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Engine
The company has given a three-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters in Mahindra Bolero Neo which generates power of 100hp and torque of 260Nm. This engine comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Along with this, the company has also given fuel-saving engine start/stop technology in it, which has been seen in the TUV300. Along with this, Eco driving mode is also available in it.
