Komaki launched the new MX3 electric motorcycle in India on Friday. This is the EV manufacturer’s fourth product for 2021 as the company launched three more top-speed battery-powered two-wheelers in the market earlier this year. The Komaki MX3 has been priced at 95,000 (ex-showroom, India). The Komaki MX3 claims that the vehicle runs 85–100 km on a single charge, which varies depending on the riding style.
According to the company, the bike does not consume more than 1-1.5 units of power to be fully charged and thus is very “pocket friendly” in terms of overall running costs. It comes with a removable Li-ion battery for convenient recharging. The bike has been introduced in three paint schemes – Garnet Red, Deep Blue and Jet Black.
The Komaki MX3 comes with many modern features such as self-diagnosis and repair switches, regenerative dual disc braking, parking and reverse assist, an inbuilt Bluetooth speaker, 3-speed mode and a full-colour LED dash.
Talking about mechanical components, the MX3 has 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic shock absorbers, alloy wheels and disc brakes, while halogen, blinkers and LED units have been provided on the front headlamps and tail lamps. In addition, Komaki also introduced TN95, SE and M5 electric two-wheelers in India. The TN95 and SE electric scooters are priced at Rs 98,000 and SE 96,000 respectively. While the price of M5 electric motorcycle is 99,000 rupees.
