Kinetic is all set to make a comeback in the two-wheeler segment. The company will launch the e-scooter, which will be named Luna. This has been confirmed by Ajinkya Firodia, MD, Moto Royale and part of Kinetic Group, on social media. Its launch is expected to happen in this year itself. This can happen even within a month or two. The Luna will have a swappable battery.
According to the information available so far, the Kinetic Luna Electric will come from the company’s new Ahmedner plant. This new plant is spread over an area of more than 30 acres. And it has four sheds of 65 thousand square feet each. And its production capacity will complement the electric two-wheeler, three-wheeler and Kinetic Lamborghini Buggy range.
The Kinetic Luna Electric will be powered by 1kW. It is expected to get Li-ion battery in it. The Kinetic Luna Electric will have a range of 70-80 kms. Its top speed will be around 25 kilometers per hour. Speed shows that registration is not required for this and there will be no rider to hold a driving license. It will have enough storage space. With this, work is going on on another scooter, which will get more speed and features. It will get a USB charger, thumb starter, LED light, digital instrument console etc. It will be available in sub-50 thousand rupees category.
