Kia Motors India has sold 21021 cars in the month of October. This is the highest domestic sale since the company’s entry in India. The October sales figure is 64 per cent higher on an annual basis. The company started selling in India 14 months ago and so far it has sold 1.5 lakh vehicles. With this, Kia Motors remains India’s fourth largest automobile company.
Kia Motors India said in a statement that its newly launched Sonet car remains one of the preferred options for Indian customers. In October, 11721 sonnet cars were sold. The company says that every three minutes, on an average, two sets of gold are being sold. The sales figures of the Seltos were 8,900 units.
Leader in Connected Car Segment
The statement said that Kia Motors has now become the leader in the connected car segment in India. At present, 75000 connected cars of the company are running on the roads of the country. Sales figures mean a lot to Kia Motors, especially when demand is expected to increase in the festive season. In view of this, the company has strengthened its supply so that the high demand can be met and the waiting period for the customers should be at least.
